The 2026 Taipei International Cities Forum has been successfully concluded on 3/19. Eight international delegations attended the annual event, including three mayors and two deputy mayors from Taipei's sister cities and friendly cities around the world.

In addition, three parallel sub-forums were held: Technology and Health, Rail Transit, Health and Aging Society.

Engagement is better than resistance, dialogue is better than confrontation, understanding is better than misunderstanding, and interaction is better than conflict.

Both sides singed the two MOUs on the subjects of water management and vocational training, which accumulated to have 49 MOUs signed at the forum so far. Both also agreed to reserve 50 reciprocal quotas for each other in Shanghai Marathon and Taipei Marathon.

The 2025 Shanghai Taipei City Forum, the 16th time since 2010, was successfully completed on Sunday, December 28 in Shanghai under the theme of "Technology Transform Life".

Many showed their appreciation for the cultural performances, including the #Lithuanian delegation who stood up and danced with the music. The #Kansai delegation highly commended the whole process of the grand opening events, and wish to catch up with #Taipei in the #WMG2027.

The opening of 2025 World Masters Games in #TaipeiDome was like a carnival, reflecting the spirit of #WMG: Sports Beyond Age, Life Without Limits! The 25,000 athletes from 107 countries compete for 35 sport items.
