We all want safer and more effective tumour treatments. This interview presents thoughtful expert clear views on how chemistry and immunology can harmonize for efficacy . https://t.co/FoWxCdUatM
FAP is a magnificent target for treating solid tumours, cirrhosis, arthritis, fibrosis in lung, heart or kidney, or endometriosis. FAP targeting increases efficacy while decreasing side effects. My new review is

@RAH00084@Blueberrymgmnt Yes, I would love see this idea tested on sera from treated patients. I would also like to see more of the great work done by FAP targeting companies published. My review was written 6 months ago and was limited to discussing published work.
@RAH00084 To answer your question, consider that 6000 and 6103 have different warheads , so each should be used to treat tumors that are vulnerable to the appropriate warhead.
Great fun presenting some of our labs work at the 2024 ECM Pharmacology Congress including our recent @NatureCancer work on pan-LOX inhibitors in pancreatic cancer in collaboration with @SyntaraTx#ECM2024@GarvanInstitute@ecmcongress | https://t.co/L2eJT2AkEQ |
We would like to remind you that registration for the next IPS webinar "Many Roads to Inflammation" by Vishva M. Dixit, Vice President of Early Discovery Research at Genentech Inc, on November 20 is still open on IPS website : https://t.co/7nXWJuefUB. Make sure not to miss this!
A new paper from @LShanlab and @KolinClark39 @Wustldbbs @WUSTLmed found that non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors drive HIV protease-mediated CARD8 inflammasome activation, which is attenuated by DPP9. Free to read: https://t.co/pGAX2ANV8X https://t.co/X1KJ71GMHC
Massively pleased in my role in these discoveries on DPP9 in humans. Now understand DPP9 is fundamental in humans, mice and fish. Congrats to @CassHarapas@sethmasters@ReversadeLab
New research involving humans, mouse models, and zebrafish clarifies how a protein complex called NLRP1 inflammasome encourages immune disorders. @WEHI_research@NTUsg@ASTARsg

Dipeptidyl peptidase 9 triggers BRCA2 degradation and promotes DNA damage repair https://t.co/IWVARfjpbc
Excited to share our newest work showing a role for DPP9 in repair of DNA damage. We show that the protease DPP9 determines BRCA2 stability and regulates HR repair!

Our snapshot of clinically isolated BA5 virus:
1- Antibodies derived from thousands of donors observes all Omicron variants (esp. BA1, BA2 & BA5) are evasive.
2- Potency of Evusheld and Sotrovimab reduced.
3- Tropism shift back to using TMPRSS2
