@kbaxterk@realgirl_fieri Not exactly if you are teacher.....
It's hard though because that in service day often needs to be the next TUESDAY for election day because of how often schools have been default voting locations.
@amuse@LeadingReport Non citizens ALREADY can't vote.
People oppose the documentation requirements that make it harder for working class citizens and people who live further from offices that provide the proposed ID to be able to exercise their Constitutional rights.
@realgirl_fieri One of the most important benefits my employer has is emergency home care. It's not long term care, but it is exactly right for an emergency or a day to wrap things up at work, or even to just do logistics. It can be used for child or other family, and in other states.
@Moses2elecboog@tonydunc@BasedMikeLee@elonmusk Well Bruh, it's nice that your world is always accessible for everyone YOU know, but it actually isn't about "smart" - it IS about access.
The law adds extra steps/obstacles to the Constitutional right to vote. It's unamerican. Current laws protect this already.
@realgirl_fieri@Shelly_AF I don't understand. This is literally what hot dish and casserole are for: no thought, 1 step, heat and go. This was like the one reliable thing in the Midwest!
@patrickwebb Well, that is a gross distortion of reality.
Never an agreement for Harris to debate on Fox. That is how these things work. It was literally a delusion Trump said himself, but political debates are agreements with both sides. Can't back out of something you never agreed to.
@jk_rowling Where is the documentation that Khelif has ever identified as a man? More likely she is an XY woman who didn't know. Narrow views of womanhood mean each woman in the Olympics would have an invasive exam of genitalia and reproductive organs ... ask USA gymnastics if less abusive.
@SylphWindrunner @jk_rowling Please show where Khelif has EVER identified as male in HER history? XY (some have Sawyer Syndrome, so have full reproductive ability) women exist outside of your transphobia. It is a big reason all women should fear transphobia, not perpetuate it.
@BryanGlezerson@joshmcgoo Honestly, I think you understand "uneventful" incorrectly in this context. My OWN medical notes say "tolerated well, uneventful". No one actually ASKED about my pain - I just managed it well because I am a migraine sufferer. Also...the MD screwed up that insertion, so EXTRA PAIN.
@BryanGlezerson@GoosHofstee@joshmcgoo So, 2000 Chilean women were asked about their satisfaction with a form of fairly permanent birth control, which reframes the pain question in the context of childbirth and sexual health comparisons, NOT an objective evaluation of pain? Were SPECIFIC effects asked about?
@AADowd 1) Amazing show
2) Can we all have a collective Poor Martha?
3) Alas, Mail Robot never got its Mr Roboto needle drop moment.
Mail Robot was our true hero.
