I’m joyful first for having been given a second life and I rejoice in the humiliation of Islamic Republic.
Today one of three men hired by the Islamic Republic to murder me in New York has been extradited to the U.S.
That means all three who plotted to kill me are in the hands of the US law enforcement agencies.
Polad Omarov was handed to U.S. authorities in Prague Wednesday morning after he had exhausted all appeal options.
Omarov, along with his associates Rafat Amirov and Khalid Mehdiyev, are now behind bars and charged with murder-for-hire and money laundering on behalf of the terrorist regime of Islamic Republic.
I want to thank the US law enforcement agencies for their vigilance. My adopted country has once again saved me from the murderous regime of my birth country Iran.
I look forward to testifying at their trial. The Islamic Republic has twice failed in its attempts to kill me in America to stop me from giving voice to the voiceless and fighting against the Islamic Republic. And I am not alone Iran’s regime using transnational repression to silence many other dissents in the West.
Right now Jamshid Sharmahd a German citizen who was kidnapped by the Islamic Republic is in death row in and they might execute him soon. Be our voice.

This poem was written by Almas İldırım is called Əsir Azərbaycan (Hostage Azerbaijan), dedicated to Soviet invasion. He fled to Iran first, but they kept him in cold water for 60 days and tortured him. So he had to escape and go to Turkey instead.
