No single politician’s personal ambition has ever messed the trajectory of Nigeria as Atiku Abubakar; and his moves have had real consequences.
In 2013, he joined the G7 governors to break away from PDP and work with opposition leaders who later formed APC. That split weakened PDP and helped lead to Goodluck Jonathan’s loss in 2015.
Since then, he has moved between parties: from PDP to APC and back to PDP. These constant switches have made it harder for parties to stay united or build a clear direction.
Today, the effects of his personal ambition still clear: there is still ongoing fights within PDP caused by that ambition.
There is a clear pattern here: his personal ambition has often come before party stability, and that has always weakened the opposition and slowed Nigeria’s progress.
And in the end, I believe that we don't need to do anything to be loved.
We spend our lives trying to seem prettier, smarter.
But I realized two things. Those who love us see us with their hearts and attribute qualities to us beyond those we really have.
And those who don't want to love us will never be satisfied with all our efforts. Yes, I really believe that it is important to leave our imperfections alone.
They are precious to understand those who see us with the heart.

Wow…. My debut album “once upon a time” turns 12 years already?? 🥹
This album was the beginning of so many milestones for me. It’s actually very emotional for me but I’m so grateful to God, and to every single person that’s stood by me since day one.
I poured my heart into it and now, 12 years later, I’m still here, still standing and ready to release another iconic body of work.
