We'd like to reach 1,000 followers by the end of the month. Can you help us get there with a retweet? We hope with more followers we'll be able to get the word out when we need support in pursuit of our federal recognition. Your allyship is vital.
If youโre a disabled person who depends on food delivery and/or microwaveable meals due to your disability, I invite you to share your story.
#CookingWhileDisabled use the tag (not sure who created it) & letโs make it trend.
@samdylanfinch omg this is SUCH a helpful thread, thank you so much for taking time to map this out!!! I can't wait to work on this over the weekend. the company I write for closes at the end of the year n I've gotta market myself as a writer for hire again. this is a perf place for me to start
@kierawrr totally! like others said, Salt Fat Acid Heat is top of mind, and @rubytandoh just released Cook As You Are which I loveeee. I think if the instructions and process are clear and the writing is engaging, photos aren't always necessary. I do love some good illustrations though
@AdhdAngsty I honestly just anticipate that things will go to shit and work ahead as I can. didn't do that this time around and am currently getting obliterated by both period and work stuff. next time I'm gonna start pain relief meds ~a day or so earlier than usual n hope for the best lol
Hello Brains!
Many of us have go-to meals that are easy/quick enough even for busy weeks and bad brain days. What's your favorite "low executive function" meal to make? (I'm not looking for gourmet, just "counts as food")
I may attempt to make it / include in a video :)
I'm not exaggerating when I saw that chronically ill/disabled twitter has played a huge role in helping keep me and my immediate family safe. I shudder to think about how un/misinformed we all would have been if I had gotten all my info from the news.
whew! the Feed Your #ADHD courses I did with @GraceLikesSci were SO AWESOME. Thank you to everyone who participated!
If you missed getting support from us via this event but you struggle to feed yourself with #ADHD, Grace and I are running FREE/BY DONATION meal prep drop ins
Weโre in the final five days our crowdfunding campaign for the We Out Here Podcast, a storytelling program centered around Black Brown and Indigenous folks in the sciences and outdoors
