Excited to share the first preprint from the lab! We did transcriptomics, morphological characterization studies and functional studies to show that intestinal #organoids from babies are very different from adults! https://t.co/A11cPh49Ab
Woohoo! So proud of this girl! She's in the 1st cohort of BCM grad program's Clinical & Translational Research Certification track and worked with @AmyHairMD on an exciting + meaningful #microbome study on very low birth weight preterm infants! Congrats @GraceforSci! #WomenInSTEM
I earned my certification in Clinical & Translational Research! My presentation on the effects of cream fortifier on the microbiome of preterm infants placed 2nd & my paper is in the works! I’m so grateful for the amazing mentorship I’ve received from @sash_ramani@AmyHairMD ❤️
On this #WomenInScience day, I celebrate my fabulous mentors @GKangInd@EstesLab_BCM @iturriza_miren who taught me everything I know, and my lab @GraceforSci who give me a chance to pass it forward! My heart is full!
