one time when i was in law school i made a cake and brought it to school and everyone asked me why and i didn’t have the heart to tell them it was my stress coping mechanism so i looked up what celebrity was born that day and just said it was for laura dern’s birthday
I will taste anything labeled “king cake,” especially when it comes from local small businesses. If you like caramel corn (cracker jacks are a long-standing parade route snack in my family), I recommend this stuff!
Thoughts while baking king cakes tonight: I should marry into the Randazzo family, just to be a part of the king cake drama. The third generation is around my age…
Happy 12th Night/Epiphany/Kings Day!
I have a quick announcement regarding a change in operations for this year. Thank you all for your continued support, and have a great (SAFE!) carnival! 💜💚💛
Four weeks from today, we’ll say goodbye to king cake again until 1/6/2021. That means we have to eat all we can in the next four weeks! Don’t miss out - order a Gracie’s king cake today

Do you have a king cake plan for tomorrow?
If not, I have a limited number of traditional cakes available! $18 for a small or $32 for a large - just shoot me a message to order, and you can have a Gracie’s king cake for Twelfth Night!
I obviously want the Saints to win, but no matter what happens, I got to listen to a Saints game while making king cakes, & that’s always a good thing #WhoDatNation#SaintsVsVikings#Saints
I’ve gotten a couple requests lately to trade king cakes in exchange for a feature on blogs/Instagram pages. The people doing the requesting seem to think their influence is worth the time/money/labor I put into making a king cake. (1/?)
@cateroot Working on typing up an official one, but the traditionals are $18 for a small (about 8” across) & $32 for a large (about 12” across). The prices for filled ones vary depending on filling, but I’ll have a full price list up by this evening!
