How is it possible that you’re worse than @Ed_Miliband …?
1) The VAT ‘cut’ is actually TEMPORARY
2) The VAT ‘cut’ has been wiped out by the latest price cap rise WEF 1st October
3) £150 ‘saved’ was only possible due to a reduction in NET ZERO levies, that you have imposed on our bills
Do one!
Disingenuous horse shit.
1) The supposed £150 came from moving energy levies from bills to general taxation. We still pay.
2) When the April price cap arrived, bills actually fell by only £117 after other increases were factored in.
3) The £45 VAT saving lasts just six months.
4) The next price cap will be around £400 higher than the cap Labour inherited in Jul 2024.
So against a promise to cut bills by £300 from 2024 levels, Labour’s ideological obsession with Net Zero currently puts them £700 off their promises
Of course they have until 2030 to turn that around, but at present they’re moving in the wrong direction. No o e believes that will change however they spin it.
And this 5th form chump of a politician tells us ‘they are keeping bills manageable’
Ridiculous person
You were elected in July 2024 promising to cut average household energy bills by £300. Back then the household energy cap was £1,568. In October it will be £1,730. So instead of a £300 cut, a £162 rise. With bigger increases to come next year. Will we ever see that £300 cut? Or has it now gone the way of the promised to build 1.5m new homes between 2024 and 2029? I rather fear so.
If 10% of Coventry's population is from the Muslim community, so why do they hold virtually every position in the council.... what about the views of the 90% that are not Muslim?
This is truly mental.
Birmingham City Council has applied for an injunction that could result in people who fly the Union Jack from lampposts being jailed for up to two years.
Threatening people with prison for displaying their national flag is a direct assault on freedom of expression.
Patriotism is not a crime — at least not yet!
@annaturley Shame on you! Two innocents are dead by the selfish actions of individuals with no respect to society or the law. Unfortunately they took two innocents with them and in your twisted world you seem to equate the two.
@annaturley You should be ashamed of yourself.
7 families have indeed lost loved ones the difference is 2 of those families are coming to terms with their loved ones being murdered by the other 5
@annaturley The only condolences you should be sending out should be to the families and friends of the the two policemen, who were taken out of existence by feral scum.
The feral scum and their families deserve no sympathy.
You disgust me.
@annaturley Are your thoughts with the family members of the 5 criminals. The family members who celebrated the death of 2 police officers.
The family members who take no accountability for their loved ones actions.
Did you attend the balloon release events.
NEVER VOTING FOR YOU!
@annaturley To put those two policemen in the same sentence, let alone the same thought as the 5 thugs who killed them is frankly extremely bad judgement and doesn’t reflect that well on you
@annaturley .@annaturley How can you not see how incredibly insensitive and inappropriate it is to have a single book of condolence for the two deceased police officers and the feral vermin that killed them ? Utterly bewildering that you would endorse such a monumentally perverse gesture
@annaturley I thought about them. The thought was "good riddance" but I was saddened that these scum, in their criminal endeavours, killed two decent human beings .
My thought are with the police officers' families, that's it.
@annaturley Shameful equivalence of the death of two fine police officers with that of five individuals with 37 offences between them who allegedly deliberately drove up the wrong side of the dual carriageway thereby causing this carnage. Despicable.
