All of a sudden, you are comparing your game with Rafa's and you realize just how much you have to improve. Like they said: "at black you begin to learn jiu-jitsu."

@MikeGeyen @JiujitsuOtter You're 100% correct about that stress! Imposter syndrome at purple is totally normal. I've trained since 2009 & felt this at every rank. Your Overton Window of skill just shifted. Trust your coaches; you earned it. Comfort comes with time on the mats. Oss!

@ShaunBNFFC @GigaBasedDad I'm a black belt in BJJ with 16+ years on the mats; size, strength, athleticism, and build factor in. Anyone that tells you it doesn’t is selling you something. Physical disadvantages only stop mattering when your skill is significantly higher. Otherwise, they're a real factor.

@PatrickByrne Many people try to take this and add additional meaning to it. Moreover, many do not even read the whole verse, much less the surrounding verses for context. He did not command them to sell their cloaks. They were only to do that if they didn't have A sword. They had two.
