@iKevinBarton Love this, I've got to steal this idea for a scheme soon. Keeping the water at a high level could avoid pumping as well in some circumstances where building is cut in.
@davidrvetter I had to leave them as I couldn't take their rubbish service and lack of any type of customer service. Such a joy the day I didn't have to deal with them ever again. Will never go back.
@rantylars @maryindevon @ICESouthWest Capacity checks should be carried out pre development so in Witney TW should not be allowing new connection until STW are upgraded.
Need to remove highway drainage and install SuDS to slow flow into the combined system. No joined up thinking

Well camp’s nearly over so it’s time to get in the festive spirit over the next few days. First up I’ve got a signed jersey to gift to someone to say thanks for all the support in 2022 - just retweet this post to enter 🎅 👌 🎁

Heads up folks - we've a pretty miserable 24-36hrs ahead with some persistent #rain over the central spine of the country.
As always, knowing your #flood risk in advance & the actions you can take pay dividends if ever the worst does happen.

@SCcrowther The only issue I have come across is the pressure required to open the valve during normal conditions, if the wrong valve is spec then it can cause a backup of water behind the valve. Otherwise a good product 👍
@SCcrowther I did wonder?
We spec wastop inline valves as less to go wrong / maintain. Be interested in seeing your recommendations.
We see a lit of flood protection schemes with no appreciation of backflow through sewers which renders the protection useless.

As helpful as ever, roll on October when I can move away from you, having been a customer since you started enough is enough of your poor service shoddy customer service.
@jonburkeUK@createstreets I have often said green roofs should be the norm. We are building so many new house with pitched tiled roofs because that's what we've always done. Planning Authorities need to change to make green roofs the norm. Retains water, removes heat improves biodiversity, removes carbon
@just_jue205 @HMRCcustomers I managed to get this sorted by calling hmrc on 0300 200 3600 . They deleted old number so when you log in next it asks for a new number. Good luck.
@HMRCcustomers I managed to get through to someone who deleted my old number so all sorted. Would be helpful to have some sort of link to take you where this can be changed. I've been going round in circles
