423 tonnes of split peas from 🇺🇦 have arrived in Mauritania, marking the first in a series of deliveries as part of our initiative.

These supplies will support two important projects by @WFP in the region: the School Feeding Programme and the lean season response.

Amidst targeted disruptions by the Russian Federation, we have successfully delivered another 14,600MT of 🇺🇦 wheat flour to Sudan, supporting two million lives at risk from acute hunger.

The first shipment of 7,000MT arrived in February and supported one million 🇸🇩 people.

This week, the Grain From Ukraine @grainfromua, our Sudanese partners, and the UN's @WFP delivered another shipment of Ukrainian grain to Sudan, which will provide monthly assistance to two million people facing severe hunger and food insecurity.

Ukraine continues to support the Sudanese people, even as it defends itself against Russian aggression at home. This is our guiding principle: we not only seek help from the world but also help others in the world.

The #GrainFromUkraine initiative will continue to deliver new shipments to more countries in order to alleviate the food crisis and assist those in need.

Food security is an important component of Ukraine's Peace Formula because we believe it is one of the key principles of global stability. We urge all countries to join the implementation of the Peace Formula and attend the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland.

We also call on all countries to condemn Russia's terrorist attacks on Ukrainian agriculture, port infrastructure, and freedom of navigation in the Black Sea.

Russian strikes have already damaged or destroyed 215 objects in the port infrastructure of the Odesa region. Despite these difficult circumstances, Ukraine continues to send cargo, including vital food exports, to countries around the world, particularly in Africa and Asia. This includes critical humanitarian supplies delivered to a number of countries, including Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Yemen, and Sudan, through the Grain From Ukraine initiative.

We hope that our assistance to the Sudanese people will help bring Sudan closer to stability and durable peace.

The continued success of our #GrainFromUkraine humanitarian program demonstrates Ukraine's dedication to assisting those in need, even during times of war in our own country.

Last week, 7,665 tons of Ukrainian wheat flour arrived in Sudan. This amount is expected to meet the food needs of more than one million Sudanese citizens for one month. In Nigeria, 25,000 tonnes of #GrainFromUkraine recently landed in Port Harcourt to help with increasing food insecurity.
