@TopiEero@MoodyWriter13 Was this effect not more pronounced earlier, at a lower net income rate? Now the write downs and the increases in intangibles capex are almost levelling out? And also, the total intangibles capex corresponds to a little more than a quarter of earnings?
@HorseInvestor@PrestigeReFini1@Ronmarkets Does anyone know the effective date for the Malaysian deal? If there is a "locked box" agreement with an effective date using 1 Jan 2026, the deal is insane and will probably pay for itself during this year alone.
They have used year end for all their previous deals.
@ReneSellmann@AbcpokerBI All my China stocks are weak today. It could be something China related, but I don't think it is explicitly related to the company. I increased my position today.
@calvinfroedge This is also the reason why people are betting on a swift solution to the situation. India, China, Japan etc. will never allow this to go on. Over 20 % of global oil products and over 30 percent of fertilizer. Also, the Gulf Countries relies on shipping for food etc. It's insane!
@AbcpokerBI Borde inte detta delvis förklaras av en större rotation av flöden från USA, där Sverige anses vara en relativt stabil nation/handelspartner?
Samma bakomliggande principer som pressar ned USD pressar upp index i andra länder?
@ContrarianKiwi @Han_Akamatsu We saw this push below a natural stop loss level yesterday in TIGR. Since I don't listen to myself, I bought too early as usual.
@ContrarianKiwi @Han_Akamatsu I often use another method, TA for screening, and then FA to validate if it is a robust case.
Also, since basic TA is common knowledge, you also have the concept of "maximum pain" in the market. Often, the best method is to buy on the way back up, from a natural stop loss price.
@YellowLabLife Keep the cash, and start a voluntary buy back program. I do think this would get peolpe FOMO-buy the stock, even if the company doesn't.
Also, if the situation clears and they don't need the cash, it's a very good level to buy back stock.
@GlobalStockPick@89Olle Samma resa här.
@JohnJamez101 @EliotHiggins@SaladinAlDronni I believe we have a problem that people tend to think in black and white, instead of probabilites.
Often there is a grain of truth to some conspiracy theories, which makes them hard to kill.
This is a problem in the free world where Russia can forcefully spread their narrative.
@DrewPavlou I guess he meant that Ukraine should never have given up their nuclear arsenal.
In 1993, he said that the US should recognize Ukraine as a great nuclear power and push them to get a doctrin and technology to not cause preemptive and accidental war.

@pdejaeghere@Masterpants @Sdm6891 @DennisARodrigu4@collectifission It has already gone wrong, with exploding energy prices, degrowth, and war in Ukraine.
Had Germany put the same amount of effort into expanding nuclear since 2000, they could have cut off Russian gas and got rid of coal. Also, they would have had cheap net zero electricity 24/7.
@elonmusk@ggreenwald Yes, it would probably be the first time in Russian history they used western democracy and free speech for their own purposes.
As it could be bad to ask for peace?
Russia just want peace. At least since Stalin started peace movements in the 1920:s.
Kallas flash-lag effect.

@Clive_Bates@SteB777@ia_aanstoot @letsreplanet @Greenpeace@GreenpeaceUK From the above, it should be obvious that many environmental NGOs are engraved in their opposition against nuclear power and that most of their funding also is conformed to this opposition.
It is thus not surprising at all to see Greenpeace clinging to their outdated position.
@Clive_Bates@SteB777@ia_aanstoot @letsreplanet @Greenpeace@GreenpeaceUK However, without nuclear power, we will not get rid of fossile fuels.
IMO we need an overhaul of the entire nuclear regulation package where we put the same level of regulations as for other hazardous process industries. That would make it possible to fast track to net zero.
