I embrace my heritage completely.
Jamaican born with mixed but mainly African ancestry and a British citizen.
I love to travel and engage culture all around the world. I have friends from multicultural backgrounds and different religions and I embrace them all.

But I reject the idol of multiculturalism and the notion that racial diversity itself at every level of society is somehow the highest moral goal for all nation-states.

I reject the idea that I can or should be reduced to my "race" for political expediency.

I am not oppressed and I totally reject the idea that I'm held hostage by past terrors of race-based slavery.

I reject racism completely.
I reject any definition of racism that claims only people from a particular race can be its perpetrators or victims.

I reject the idea that we are to confer guilt upon people for injustices of the past because of the colour of their skin. I reject racial resentment towards white people.

I condemn racism directed at black people as well whether in the past or contemporary.

I reject the abject stupidity of calling everyone racist who dares to think against the grain of racialized identity politics.

So that's about 100k social workers completing 220k CPD records nationally. 97.5% of those records are never viewed & those few that are this is the extent of feedback. For a profession with an ongoing workload & vacancy crisis, this should be unacceptable.
