Earth’s magnetic field acts like a protective shield around the planet — but it has an unusually weak spot, where particle radiation can interfere with onboard computers and satellites. How @NASAEarth researchers monitor its changes: https://t.co/kxau4LOaV7
Did someone say off-grid solar powered A/C?!❄️

The array at the bottom displays our "24V" solar panels. These panels are typically used for residential applications, but can also be used to charge 24V/48V battery banks.
This week on #TechTipTuesday: 60 and 72-cell solar panels have high voltage outputs (30-40 VDC or more), which
is why they are sometimes referred to as “24 volt” panels. These panels are ideal for 24/48V battery banks and require MPPT type controllers to be used with 12V banks
The solar array on the top of the image displays "12V" solar panels. These panels are typically used in off-grid applications to charge 12V battery banks.
#TECHTIPTUESDAY Don’t combine PWM and MPPT type charge controllers on the same system! They have different voltage set-points and are not compatible.
However, you can have two MPPT charge controllers going to the same battery bank if you plan to expand your solar array!☀️🔋⚡️
