@BuccaneerBolt @StadiumShadow Down there in Oct. on a Sun. night when Falcons played the Niners. It wasn’t crowded. Yard House was dead before the game ended. Not a ton of people around when I left before the game ended. I would love to be there when the Braves are playing, but I get the point.

And then for the W to turn around and say we’re only considering cities that put in expansion bids. They didn’t want to keep a team in CT.

The Boston group wasn’t, so no team. Hartford jumped in, No team because no expansion big. Why would Hartford bid when a team was already 40 miles away?

@MisterHotBalls Love the Huskies, but that was different. I get it. A state school and all, but Houston would be playing literally across town. This scenario is more like UCF playing in Orlando or USF playing in Tampa. Different arenas, but same town.

@Michael_Cohen13 Before Pitino, the SJU last won the regular season title in 92 and the BET title in 00. That doesn’t scream ownership..especially when Georgetown, Louisville, Syracuse, Nova and UConn have all won the Natty in the BE. Nova (3) and UConn (5 in BE, 6 overall) have better claims!

@CanvasEmpty @123Fireballs Don’t disagree, but UConn got left holding the bag after almost all of those “old” Big East schools left. BC, SU and Pitt to the ACC. The C7 included G’Town, SJU, PC, SHU, Nova. UConn was the OG school left behind.
