A third of meat substitutes in the supermarket contained toxic compounds produced by moulds. Mostly soy, pea and lupin-based.
Mould is a real world challenge in crop farming and storage.
And it's not good for you to have a steady supply of mycotoxins in your diet - especially not good in products marketed as "healthier".
