Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up?

For those celebrating the passage of a property tax elimination bill in the Florida House, the devil is in the details...

The Florida House voted 80-30 to propose a 2026 ballot amendment (HJR 203) that would phase out non-school property taxes on primary residences with homestead exemptions over 10 years starting in 2027, if approved by the Senate and 60% of voters. School taxes would remain.

Non-school taxes only eliminated and it takes 10 years to reach 0 taxes. This is not what Florida voters want or what Governor DeSantis proposed.
