Lakes needs to be restored like lakes, and not to make parks out of them.

Some of the lakes in Anekal taluk and are found to be done without approval of KTCDA and Concerned departments.
Who will take responsibility now ?
Lakes are getting converted as recreational areas and parks.

Who makes these DPRs, how are these consultants selected? All orders highlight that the lake ecosystem restoration needs to be the priority. However, the focus of these DPRs very often is on building a soap dish shaped tank, with amusement park. Ecologists need to be consulted.
