Good construction with the current cultural climate, but not something that should be promoted as a measure to protect peds. This is car infrastructure.

In a nationwide crisis of obesity and related conditions like heart disease, one of the most promising solutions is cycling. Cities need to work hard to ensure that cycling is encouraged as much as possible, for the sake of the future of our society.
