GFT Crews were dispatched to a vehicle fire near the 106 WB Rest park on I70. Upon arrival crews found a fully involved vehicle fire. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames. The single occupant of the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle without injury.

While we had a little fun today raising money for @RileyChildrens, our thoughts and prayers are still with @IndStatePolice as the lay one of their own to rest.

Trooper Aaron Smith was a true public servant each and every day. He will be missed. Final 10-42’s are hard to hear.

Our GFT High School Cadets got a special ride in the bucket of Ladder 421! 🚒🧑‍🚒Each year as our cadet academy comes to a close, it is a tradition to take one final ride as a way to celebrate their achievements. Great job this year!
