His economic argument is that maximizing employer efficiency is not necessarily the same as maximizing American welfare. Foreign labor may disadvantage American workers, while remittances and return migration move earnings and savings abroad. Why not address that argument directly instead of dismissing it as socialism and resorting to personal attacks?

That market is not free! No one who has any experience with that particular labor market would characterize it as free.

Your H-1B visa is tied directly to your sponsoring employer. If you leave or lose that job, you lose your H-1B status. This is why they like these employees, you can treat them like garbage and they will just say "yes boss."
