@TalkoftheSpurs@ChrisCowlin That was the most fight I've seen in this group for a while. It wasn't perfect, but it is what it is. They'll fight... They just need more faith in a new system and manager. Danso got it badly wrong, but it happens. Right now we have to stick with them, whatever happens.
@ChrisCowlin If we go down fighting like that, then we go down. Such is life. It will hurt, but we'll get over it. A momentary lapse for Danso; that's life. I just want to see our team fight for the shirt. If we have to regroup and fight to come back up, so be it. #TTID. #coys
@Greek_Phil@LeeADeighton You just know there's going to be an awful lot of 'I was on call and called to attend' claims to sift through. 'Vehicle being used for police purposes'....🤦🏻♂️.... It's not going to be a good 'look', and more Q's will be asked of police officers bending the rules.
@_Kano_P Isn't it amazing how many officers of all ranks think that they can disregard traffic legislation? Clearly not 'important' enough for them 🤬. Then go and commit significant criminal offence to try to swerve it. Unbelievable. More so for an officer of her rank. 🤦🏻♂️
@ChopsBarberJoe@_Kano_P If she's found to have acted unlawfully she won't be getting either of those options. Can't take early retirement whilst under criminal investigation, and will undoubtedly be sacked if this is proved.
@DonnaDlm71 Deliberately stayed out of the 'policing protests' debate, not wanting to be an ex-bobby criticising current policing. But this is poor & tone is starkly different from the 'Peace' demos. The follow up tweets were almost disappointed the march didn't end in violence & arrests.
@NaomiRipon1111 @canthelpmenow7@WhatNowDoc Schools and teachers have been slowly diminished by liberal ideology that prevents teachers dealing proactively with bad behaviour, and the kids know it. Products of that ideology now run riot with impunity in state schools. Why tax parents who can put their kids elsewhere?
@LeeADeighton@NormanBrennan sorry fellas, whilst the Comms are 'out' I'm willing to bet these two have been 'up to' for quite some time. Almost certainly some other criminality going on in the background. It's a shame Notts Police didn't give any context, but poaching is big business.
@ghost_wales Depends if their print database is connected to the criminal database; I suspect not. It will simply confirm that the person who holds that document is the person at the desk. Process takes about 1 minute once logged. Already in use for certain Visa holders coming into the UK.
@Dan1763@Samfr Except the suggestion isn't military service is it? It can be if the person chooses, but there are a number of options suggested. What's wrong with working for the community as part of education? A few people might learn a few things & it might encourage a more cohesive society.
@karenncollins11@grayshuss@Jenny_1884 Tip for Esraym.... Get off social media, put the phone down, go out and get some fresh air. It might help. I don't give tips often, but I'm glad to on this occasion.
@grayshuss@Jenny_1884 I did read it, and I stand by my comment. A waiter is paid by the venue to serve me; that's their job. However, some (indeed most) provide for an enjoyable dining experience and I will usually tip. But that's not a 'given'. I don't care what country it is; poor service = no tip.
@LukeHayesII1@grayshuss@Jenny_1884 Obviously not, and quite happy to tip good service. That wasn't the point. Which was as stated; if the service is rubbish then there's no tip.
@grayshuss@Jenny_1884 First visit to USA, waiter walking round with headphones on. Shocking service, so no tip. If that's cheap, I'm cheap 🤷🏻♂️. Don't presume you're getting a tip just because 'it's expected'.
@CardnoNFT@FryUpSociety@TheWolseley A colleague of mine used to have chips with his 😲. Shocking. I'm a chip lover but there's a time & place. Hash browns have their place; it's not on an English breakfast, not even as a space filler. Add extra black pudding, or fried egg. It's a hill I'll gladly die on.
