Benedict Cumberbatch recites Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish’s “On this land there are reasons to live” poem at the “Together for Palestine” event.

If the hīkoi is not representative (though I believe it is), the Act party agenda can’t be either.
The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; and I am beginning to suspect that whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality.

Your regular reminder that bike network (incl pedestrian and bus improvements) make up 0.17% of this year's rates increase. Rates revolters are really protesting water costs, interest rates, insurance and depreciation.
A thriving city centre will not come from limiting the rights of workers. It will come from enabling workers to live close to where they work, providing more affordable transport choices - and believe it or not - keeping them employed
So the leaders of both parties that will be responsible for approving rapid consents do not regard endangered species in a wildlife sanctuary as an adequate reason to disrupt a boat race
Here is s10 of the Wildlife Act 1953 as amended in 2013 by that nice man John Key's govt
