Deep down, in an ocean beneath its ice shell, Jupiter’s moon Europa might be temperate & nutrient-rich, an ideal environment for some form of life — what we call “habitable." Our @EuropaClipper mission, launched on Oct. 14, aims to find out.

#Crew9 is going for a Sunday drive... in space!
We're relocating the Crew-9 Dragon spacecraft to a different port on the @Space_Station to prepare for an upcoming cargo launch to the orbiting laboratory. Live coverage begins at 6:15am ET on Nov. 3: https://t.co/KfsjMcbh6y
Astronomers mapped out a highway to the… danger zones! in a star cluster.
Planets are less likely to form in these areas due to destructive X-rays and ultraviolet radiation, as seen in data from @ChandraXray and our now-retired Spitzer Space Telescope: https://t.co/vWELS86WEl

NGC 5248 is a spiral full of starbursts.
This #HubbleFriday galaxy's winding spiral arms are home to bright regions of intense star formation.
It even has two ring-shaped starburst regions around its center, filled with young clusters of stars: https://t.co/5DrgicT8Dd

Sometimes the universe smiles back!
In the center of this image, taken with @NASAHubble, is the galaxy cluster SDSS J1038+4849 — and it seems to be smiling. Why? Because of gravitational lensing! Learn more about it here: https://t.co/RYPjU6Rp4z
