#EkitiDecides2026 : INEC Boss Inspects Election Preparations ahead of Ekiti Election.
In continuation of the Commission’s routine pre-election activities, the INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN), accompanied by National Commissioners and senior officials of the Commission, paid inspection visits to Ido/Osi and Oye Ekiti Local Government Areas to assess the level of preparedness ahead of the polls.
During the visits, the team evaluated the quantity and condition of electoral materials already received, while also reviewing the organizational arrangements being put in place by officials at the local government offices.
The inspection tour formed part of INEC’s strategic measures aimed at ensuring all logistics and operational plans are fully in place before election day.
Letting go isn't about giving up or admitting defeat, it is an act of profound courage. It is recognizing that not everything is meant to travel with you into your next chapter.

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has pledged the Federal Government’s support for the Nigeria Press Council’s national compendium on economic and tourism potentials across Nigeria.
This is as the Vice President described President @officialABAT as a friend of the media who is a firm believer in the independence of the press.
This, he said, explains why the @officialABAT administration has, in the past three years, continued to promote an environment that is conducive to journalists carrying out their duties without harassment.
Senator @KashimSM stated this on Thursday in Abuja when he received a delegation from the Nigeria Press Council (@nigpresscouncil) led by its Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Dili Ezughah, on a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa.
Noting that President @officialABAT has remained a friend of the media, the Vice President recalled how the President had used his personal resources to assist media organizations.
