@remyb2 @sboots I think the main argument made is that we (larger and more traditional organizations) conflate EA as a set of processes and techniques that IT alone can properly do. If EA (the practice) is only accomplished within the corporate IT branch, is it enterprise architecture?

Not trying to be negative just that efforts around OSS have been ongoing for more than a decade without becoming a normal approach.
