C.J. Stroud through 4 weeks of NFL football:
- 93/151 (61.6%)
- 5 TD's/0 INT's
- 1,141 passing yards
- 99.3 passer rating
- 66 rushing yards
Yet the Houston Texans are 0-4.
Contrary to what Dan Orlovsky mentioned this past week, C.J. Stroud can definitely ask for whatever he wants at this point.
He's played top-10 football for the first month of the season, yet his franchise has failed him and Will Anderson Jr. in every facet of the game.
C.J. Stroud vs the Cowboys:
21/31
347 Passing Yards
11.2 YPA
0.42 EPA/Play & 60% Success Rate (RBSDM)
+14.3% CPOE
Stroud has still not had a throw considered turnover worthy this season and the Texans are 0-4.
@TexansCommenter Im glad we lost. Winning would have gave everyone hope. We need big changes. CJ continues to prove he ain’t the problem. Has given the defense a 4th quarter lead in 3/4 games and lost every single one. Unacceptable since this generational defense is supposed to be “carrying CJ”
@TexansCommenter What’s happening to the defense, particularly the secondary this year? And what on earth is going on with the Texans’ clock management? Stroud is good. Nico, Will, and Fairbairn are always consistent, but I’d take a hard look at everyone else, including all coaches!
