“Knowing that in many cases no one could possibly have an accurate model is extremely valuable”

Let me explain why you can ignore all hysterical calls for PM X or Y & focus on this tweet to understand the short-term dynamics of the French Parliament.
Macron can appoint a PM, the Assemblée Nationale can dismiss the PM. But 289 MPs are needed.
That’s a lot.
Why?

Sponsor direct lending - By relationship lending, you mean getting a grid at noon with response due at 3pm? Oh, and yes the sponsor ran out of letters for its EBITDA add-backs so he's now at clause (af)
@W98AB@gram_benny @DakotasTwits In most cases I know, companies cover the cost of the membership. So employees are keeping it even if it’s not useful to them
My company, Newfound Research, turned 15 today.
Coming up on this anniversary, I reflected quite a bit on my career. I’m not sure why, but this milestone feels larger than I would've expected.
So I decided to write something.
15 Ideas, Frameworks, and Lessons from 15 Years
There are three key things to understand from the balance sheet:
1. Capital Structure
2. Working Capital Profile
3. Liquidity Headroom
Let's tackle them each in turn
"the SEC has mostly had a pretty easy time arguing crypto tokens are securities.. It is sensible and, I think, correct to extend that to say then surely an exchange where those securities trade is a securities exchange. But it is not quite that simple"

BloombergGPT is a new LLM for finance.
It's a 50 billion parameter language model trained on financial data.
Claims the largest domain-specific dataset yet with 363 billion tokens... further augmented with 345 billion tokens from general purpose datasets.
Outperforms existing models on financial tasks while not sacrificing performance on general LLM benchmarks.

*PLOT TWIST*
We've all seen an example that goes something like this:
Sally invests $5K /yr from 25 to 35 ($50K).
Bob invests $5K /yr from 35 to 65 ($150K).
Despite investing 3x more, Bob can't catch Sally, demonstrating the value of her head start.
THIS IS FALSE.

#MiniThread
