Such reprehensible actions constitute a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have the potential to further undermine regional peace and stability.

In an environment dominated by extremism,neither the economy can prosper,nor tourism flourish,nor can culture,civilization and intellectual freedom thrive.
A peaceful,moderate and tolerant society is the true foundation of national progress and prosperity.
We all have a collective responsibility to work towards building a moderate, inclusive and prosperous society and to discourage and reject violence and extremism in all its forms,regardless of the sectarian or ideological group from which it originates.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir represented Pakistan in the telephone call and I greatly appreciate his tireless efforts during the entire process.The discussions provided a useful opportunity to exchange views on the current regional situation and how to move the ongoing peace efforts forward to bring lasting peace in the region.
