ہمارے صوابی کے ہر محلے میں عورتوں کے دو تین مدرسے کھل گئے ہیں، روایتی چادر (پڑونے) کی جگہ پیپسی نما برقعوں اور کالے جرابوں نے لے لی ہیں۔ اِس سخت گرمی میں بھی عورتیں یہ برقعے اور جرابے پہن کے مدرسے جاتیں ہیں۔ ہمارے پشتون کلچر کی جگہ ہم پر عرب نما انتہاپسند کلچر تھوپا جارہا ہے۔

کسی نے مجھے ویڈیو ارسال کی اور لکھا کہ جماعت اسلامی بھی اپنا احتجاج چھوڑ کر ایسے ہی نکلی جیسے یہ نمازی گاڑی چلنے کے بعد نماز چھوڑ کر۔ بہت سے لوگ جماعت اسلامی کے احتجاج کی معطلی پر تنقید کررہے ہیں مگر سوال پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ حافظ نعیم بیچارے احتجاج کرکے بھی کیا کرلیتے ؟ کیا پیٹرول کی قیمتیں کسی سیاسی احتجاج سے کم ہو سکتی ہیں ؟

I welcome Iran’s announcements that the Strait of Hormuz is completely open for all commercial vessels for the remainder of the ceasefire.

This a step in the right direction.

The @UN position remains clear: we need the full restoration of international navigational rights & freedoms in the Strait of Hormuz, respected by everyone.

I also hope that, together with the ceasefire, this measure will contribute to creating confidence between the parties and strengthen the ongoing dialogue facilitated by Pakistan.
