@UkDruid @OFLonchain @PopBase Not really. If you don’t need ms office or adobe programs, Linux is a perfect option. With KDE it looks very similar to windows and for your average user, there is not much to learn new to use it.

@reidhslaughter @pablothinghouse Windows is literally just new UIs stacked upon old ones. Thats why its such a bloated mess. Worse than most open source projects. The deeper you dig, the older UI you find. There is still win 7 and maybe even win95. Windows is just a mess, most Linux distros are more consistent.

@stats_feed Many of those companies are massively overvalued for what they actually produce. A large part of the economy is just money moving without producing any benefit for society.
