Chechen Muslim girl dies after being taken into Norway's child welfare service

A 14-year-old girl named Maryam died in Norway after the country’s child welfare service, Barnevernet, took the Chechen girl into care.

According to Chechnya’s human rights Сommisioner, Maryam called both of her aunts once over the past month and complained that she was going hungry because she was being fed pork, which she did not eat because she was Muslim.

We already knew this, but certain people (we know exactly who they are) were desperately pushing the narrative that Muslims are committing a “genocide” against Christians in Nigeria.

Why?

Because the “barbaric Muslim slaughtering Christians” narrative is useful. It creates a villain, demonises Muslims collectively and gives people a moral excuse for their own anti-Muslim bigotry.

If you can convince people Muslims are inherently violent and barbaric, suddenly treating Muslims with hatred and suspicion can be dressed up as “defending civilisation.”
