I had to pay twitter for this post so everyone better like it and find it useful 🫵 . . . please 🥹
The squish is actually a side effect of the method rather than intentionally geared for to happen
@MissAlykatt It’s likely an SVG (scalable vector graphic).
Instead of rasterized pixels, you have strokes / points / etc with their positions saved, so you have “infinite zooming”.
@EveOnline In my head cannon, the insurance agencies have “salvage rights” in the contract somewhere, and so they still manage to turn a profit.
Though I’d be interested in seeing insurance payouts /money spent on insurance. Maybe they still manage to make profit the normal way!
The Battle of the Bricks live stream is coming!
Tune in, join the EVE Online and Star Citizen community teams on 22 July as we build the best LEGO submissions, and donate to kids charity Extra Life.

@OleenaNatiras I did try my best to design it as human buildable as possible, but this is my first time designing legos, so I’ve got no clue XD
I’ve got a friend who plans to build it IRL, we’ll see if it pans out.
I made a Lego Avatar!
This is my first time designing anything with Lego, so it's probably not the best XD
I'll try to tidy up what I can, generate some readable instructions, and submit it to the competition!

- 75x40x40 centimeters.
- 4.3kg
- 5326 parts
- $662
- About 60 hours this last week and a half where spent on this... I wasn't joking about not needing sleep ;_;
(If anyone wants to donate an in game Avatar / Ragnarok / Molok ;p I'll open source the instructions).
The Avatar is 50% done by length, and 75% done by girth.
But size isn't everything, so I've tried to capture the nice curves, ridges, grooves, and ribbing of our golden titan.
Shape isn't everything either, but how you play with it isn't up to me.
#tweetfleet#battleofthebricks
If one measures by length, I'm about 20% of the way done...
Stats so far:
- 3167 pieces
- 5 pounds
- 2.5 feet long
- $400 (give or take $50 depending on your local lego stores).
The outer surface of the Avatar's dome is finished, and the entire internal skeleton is complete!
Current Features:
- Teeth that slide in and out.
- Turrets that spin.
- Kinda accurate colors (tan looks kinda gold, and they're dirt cheap).

The lego skeleton grows slowly...
I really hope I can finish the internal structure so I can spend next week detailing it XD
