While I welcome the Govt's decision to enhance the stipend of medical interns, justice must not be selective. Have written to HCM @OmarAbdullah sb to end the disparity by substantially increasing the meagre ₹6,000 monthly stipend of veterinary interns in J&K and fast-tracking the long-pending recruitment of agriculture graduates.
Our veterinary interns deserve dignity & our unemployed agriculture graduates deserve jobs. Their concerns demand urgent action, not mere assurances. Let no professional community be left behind.
J&K’s youth deserve fairness, opportunity and justice.

DAY 30: ONE MONTH OF RESISTANCE. ONE MONTH OF NEGLECT.
30 days of peaceful protest. Countless doors knocked. Every possible platform approached. Yet, the future of J&K’s Agriculture Graduates remains uncertain.
A month on the roads, but still no justice. Our degrees deserve dignity, our voices deserve answers, and our future deserves action not assurances.
One month has passed. Our determination hasn’t.

27 days of peaceful protest, yet Agriculture Graduates continue to face silence and uncertainty.
I stand firmly with our youth. They deserve justice, fair recruitment and a future built on merit, not endless delays. The government must revisit SRO-433 and SRO-442 without further delay. Our youth need action, not assurances @UAGA_JK
It is deeply disturbing to watch a video of an IAS officer shouting at a female colleague, using inappropriate language, denying her an opportunity to explain herself, and instead asking his staff to type her suspension order. Such conduct is highly unbecoming of a public servant. The officer must be held accountable for his remarks and behaviour. Human dignity is non-negotiable, and no position of authority gives anyone the right to humiliate another person. Respect, fairness and dignity must be upheld in every workplace.
Unemployed agriculture graduates have been on protest for nearly a month, demanding the filling of vacant posts and a review of SRO-443. The government must listen to their demands and address their legitimate concerns. Intimidation, harassment or any form of coercive measures will not resolve the issue. A meaningful response to their legitimate grievances is essential.
27 days of peaceful protest reflect the deep frustration of J&K’s qualified agriculture graduates. Dedicated professionals should not have to take to the streets simply to ask for fair recruitment. The administration must address the root of the crisis by reviewing SRO-433 and SRO-442 for the AEO and JAEO cadres. Years of hard earned education must lead to opportunity, not uncertainty. Our educated youth deserve dignity, fair opportunities, and the right to serve J&K.
DAY 27: ONE DEMAND:- JUSTICE.
27 days into our peaceful protest, Agri-graduates are still waiting for more than words. We are waiting for written, time-bound assurance on our genuine demands, including both gazetted and non-gazetted recruitment issues.
Our patience is not our weakness. Our peaceful approach is not our surrender. We have worked hard for our qualifications, and we will not let our degrees to become certificates of Unemployment . #JusticeForAgriGraduates

SABAR and TAHAMUL is the only thing which we have been doing from 2 decades, hoping for the better, fair and early solution.
This darkness has to see the light of dawn. Our every ounce of struggle is demanding repayment. @Javed
A 10th class promotee serving as JAEO, while a PhD holder in Agriculture remains unemployed. Is this the value we place on merit & expertise? When higher qualifications r ignored & deserving graduates r left on the streets, the system itself demands accountability @JavedDar_NC
DAY 26.
Today, we have entered the 26th day of our peaceful struggle, 26 days of standing up against recruitment injustice, 26 days of demanding accountability, and 26 days of fighting for the future of Agri-graduates.
Our careers are at stake, our years of education are being undervalued, and our future cannot be kept hostage to a deadlocked system.
The question is no longer how long we can protest. The question is how long the government can afford to ignore us.
DAY 26. THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES. THE ANSWER IS STILL DUE.

DAY 25: RAIN OR SHINE, WE STAND FIRM.
25 days of struggle.
Rain above us, pain within us, but hope still alive.
The sky keeps pouring, but our determination remains unshaken. We are not asking for favours, we are demanding justice, dignity, and our rightful future.
WE WON'T GIVE UP. WE WON'T BACK DOWN. JUSTICE CAN'T WAIT!

We sincerely thank Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi @Agasyedmuntazir for condemning the order to suspend classwork and vacate the hostels. We deeply value his solidarity with Forestry students and his willingness to speak up for them at a time when their support matters most. His support is sincerely appreciated by the Forestry student community.

The Unemployed Agriculture Graduates Association, J&K, extends its sincere gratitude to @KNSKashmir for consistently highlighting our ongoing protest, which has entered its 24th day, and for giving a voice to the concerns of thousands of qualified Agri-graduates.
We particularly appreciate @KNSKashmir for visiting the office of the Hon’ble Agriculture Minister @JavedDar_NC sb, and raising the long-pending grievances of Agri-graduates directly with the Minister. By asking pertinent questions on our behalf, KNS has helped bring our struggle and genuine demands to the attention of the Govt and the public.
At a time when our voices have remained unheard for nearly two decades, KNS has demonstrated the true spirit of journalism, questioning those in authority, amplifying unheard voices and bringing public concerns to the forefront.
We are deeply grateful to the entire KNS team for its continued support, responsible reporting and commitment to highlighting this important issue.
Our demand remains simple: We seek no new posts or appointments without competition, only a fair opportunity to compete for existing vacancies.
Thank you, KNS, for standing with the unheard professional youth of J&K.
