NEWS: The union is currently engaged in effects bargaining with the organization as part of an ongoing labor dispute with current working conditions. We're fighting for the safety, dignity, and fair treatment of all Hugo House employees!
We're eager and ready to begin contract bargaining to negotiate for fair compensation and workplace safety. Thank you to our followers and supporters--we're so glad to have the support and resources to finally tell our staff story❤️🔥
As the Seattle International Film Festival starts up today, its cinema workers union would like you to know that they're still waiting for a fair contract.

I haven’t talked about it much here, but the employees at Powell’s Books (yes, where I work) are fighting for a living wage and better healthcare. Powell’s isn’t keen on giving us either. We’re asking folks to read, sign, and share this petition 💖 https://t.co/TqtxTPIlit
We're thrilled to announce the unionization of eligible staff employees with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 751! Please follow and engage with our work here.
In solidarity,
Hugo House Union
