Those road will eventually have positive economic value. The best time to build the roads was 40 to 50 years ago. The next best time is now. Imagine how much we would have built those road in the 1970s during the oil boom and the effect on Nigeria's GDP

I didn't mean can't happen we have had military head of states in Nigeria I meant in the long run it will not work. The authoritarian government will be busy repressing people from the other majority ethnic group or fighting coups and civil wars.

Well my two cents is that a one man authoritarian can not even work in Nigeria. We have a heterogeneous country with three groups fighting to dominate national politics. Look at how there is no peace even in a democracy.

Crushed press freedom.
Ran a one party state for decades.
Used fear as a governance tool, deliberately, unapologetically.

The very things Nigerian Twitter screams about..
1) authoritarian
2) heavy handed rule
3) suppression of dissent

Singapore didn’t become Singapore despite the hardship of those reforms. It became Singapore because LKY refused to let comfort, noise, or popular opinion slow him down.

I showed up to support Chef Hilda Baci, in her quest to break the Guinness World Record @GWR for the longest time spent cooking by an individual.

Her dedication, passion for cooking as well as her desire to put our rich culture on the map by not only exhibiting our food but also the resilience, determination, energy and team spirit that has come to be known as the spirit of Lagos and indeed Nigeria is truly remarkable.

We are proud to have Hilda embarking on this journey in our state. I will continue to follow the updates and look forward to the final declaration.
