The Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act #VAPPAct has been a topic of significant public discourse lately due to Senator Jibrin Isah's proposed bill to repeal the act.

Till now many states are still yet to domesticate this said act since 2015!

The Senate should focus on amending, not repealing, this important legislation.
