Heidi Henkel just confirmed what many have suspected all along: Kenny Nguyen cannot be trusted. In a stunning announcement, his own Democratic primary opponent revealed that she cannot in good conscience support him in the general election.

Why? Because according to Henkel, Nguyen ran a campaign built on deception. While claiming to represent the community, he reportedly took oil and gas contributions, relied on corporate PAC dollars, and benefited from massive independent expenditure "dark money" backing—all while lying to voters about it.

Worse still, his tactics went beyond standard political maneuvering. Henkel details how Nguyen actively tried to bully her endorsers into switching sides, crossing ethical lines to publicly shame a female colleague, and spreading falsehoods directly at voters' doors. Even members of his own party are calling out his lack of integrity, warning that supporting candidates who compromise the truth makes us no better than the opposition.

From taking corporate cash to sabotaging his fellow Democrats, Kenny Nguyen has shown his true colors. HD33 deserves a representative with honesty and integrity—not someone who sells out for political gain.

The Progressive Takeover: Colorado Democrats Pivot Further Left While Playing Identity Politics

The results are in for Colorado's Democratic primary for Secretary of State, and Jefferson County Clerk Amanda Gonzalez has defeated party insider state Sen. Jessie Danielson with nearly 64% of the vote. Gonzalez will face Republican James Wiley in November to replace outgoing Democrat Jena Griswold.

Once again, the Democratic establishment shows how deeply fractured and out of touch it is. While party insiders expected Danielson to cruise to victory, the progressive wing hijacked the primary, dragging the party even further to the left.

Instead of focusing on common-sense election security, the Democrats' entire platform remains hyper-fixated on mail-in voting and maintaining the status quo, treating essential election safeguards as partisan battlegrounds. While they claim to be "taking back democracy," their internal power struggles and progressive pivot show their priority is control, not the concerns of regular Coloradans who want secure, transparent, and efficient election administration.
