I played for a club where a manager went mad after games if we felt a decision had gone against us. You feel like itβs us against the world . I get it. Everyone hates us, the refs are out to stitch us up and theirs bias v us. However I can never remember the club writing letters undermining the system and the whole refereeing community.
When I look back now I donβt think as players we always covered ourselves in glory with refs and also at a big club we all feel entitled and you have to leave and retire to be able to see that.
Arsenalβs letter and even the Liverpool statement a few weeks ago ( they had a genuine bad one v them ) are wrong. Do it privately . If I was Howard Webb I would stop apologising to them and get on with it. Managers and players make far more mistakes than refs!
I dont think their intentions were ever truly a replay
What Klopp has done here is stake claim to a throne which the eye cannot see. One where you are protected from the impurities of VAR and officiating
Hes basically bullet proofed himself against any future 50/50 calls and turned them in Liverpools favour of a 70/30 swing
Referees will be frightened, petrified to give a tight penalty call against Klopps Liverpool, or a debatable red card challenge against Klopps Liverpool. VAR will take extra time to ensure they do not give any reason for debate against Klopps Liverpool, but be sure to know theyll be quick in making decisions in favour of Liverpool
We will see across the course of the remainder of the season how Liverpool will gain more points in the final 31 games of the season through VAR decisions than any other club

@mattnffc_@secondtierpod Itβs not a personal attack on forest lol, havenβt got a problem with you lot. but you have to admit at least one of them shouldβve been given
π βIf Man United were 1-0 down, would they get it? They would, 100%.β
π€ βDo I think big clubs get the decisions? Itβs always been that way.β
Darren Bent believes thereβs a subconscious βbig club biasβ from referees
Marcos Alonso killed someone while drunk driving and got his prison sentence reduced to just a fine for taking someone's life, greenwood is possibly returning to football after raping someone. What exactly do these millionaire athletes need defending from how are they victims?
Cant believe Colwill isnt excited to come back to the team that finished 12th with Kepa in goal that just sold their lifelong academy graduate Champion of Europe after fucking him over in contract negotiations and not good enough to get a shirt sponsor? What a weirdo
This is why I never give Man City stick. Their fans have always been there at Maine Rd getting 30-40k in Div 2. Theyβve seen it all and are living the dream. Only ones who are upset are the plastic supporting Mancs and Scousers cos City are upsetting the apple cart.
