🔴 Drunk hotel migrant ‘raped woman after night out’, court hears 🔴

A woman was raped and sexually assaulted by a drunk asylum seeker living in a hotel, a court has been told.

Chret Callender, 28, allegedly forced himself onto the young woman after turning up at her home after a night out.

Callender asked the woman for some “loving”, to which she said no, before he overpowered her and “carried on regardless”, a jury heard.

The complainant recorded much of the incident on her phone.

Callender’s address was given as the Britannia Hotel in Bournemouth, Dorset, which is one of three hotels in the seaside town being used by the Home Office to house asylum seekers.

No details were given at Bournemouth Crown Court about Callender’s nationality or how long he has been in the UK.

The incident is alleged to have happened in the early hours of June 14 this year.

Callender told police he had gone to the woman’s house and admitted he asked “for some loving” but claimed he accepted her refusal, the court was told. He said there was no sexual contact between them.

The trial continues.

APPEAL | We are issuing CCTV images of a man detectives would like to speak to following a sexual assault on a bus.

At 12.43pm on Friday 24 October, a woman in her 20s was sitting on the top deck of the Number 14 Stagecoach bus towards Liverpool when she was sexually assaulted by a man, who repeatedly touched her leg.

The victim is being supported as our enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Alexandra Lindley said: “The man pictured could have information to assist, so if you recognise him please come forward.

“These CCTV images are part of extensive work and I would like to take this opportunity to remind people to contact us via our official channels and not speculate on social media, as this is an ongoing investigation.

🔴 Falkirk - Man appears in court charged with sexually assaulting two women 🔴

Muhammad Sheikhi appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court, charged with two counts of sexual assault.

The 22-year-old, whose general address was given as Falkirk, made no plea. He has been remanded in custody and is due back in court within the next eight days.

Emergency services were alerted to the first attack in the Kerse Lane area at around 3am on Sunday.

Whilst carrying out enquiries into the sexual assault, detectives were made aware of a second attack which occurred half an hour later at Bellsmeadow Road.
