वाइब्रेंट विलेजेस प्रोग्राम (VVP) ने भारत के सीमावर्ती गांवों की भूमिका को पुनर्परिभाषित किया है।
अब वे सुदूर चौकियां नहीं रहे, बल्कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और विकास में रणनीतिक साझेदार बन चुके हैं।
यह कार्यक्रम VVP-I और VVP-II के माध्यम से क्रियान्वित किया जा रहा है, जिसका कुल परिव्यय 11,639 करोड़ रुपये है।

🌋 🚨 SEVEN VOLCANOES ERUPT SIMULTANEOUSLY IN INDONESIA THIS MORNING ⚠️

According to CNN Indonesia, as of 09:00 WIB this Sunday, at least four volcanoes were reported to have erupted:

🌋 Anak Krakatau — Sunda Strait
🌋 Mount Ibu — West Halmahera
🌋 Mount Ili Lewotolok — East Nusa Tenggara
🌋 Mount Semeru — East Java 🌋 News about Sinabong and other two more volcanoes under volcano alert as of this morning .

👉 A total of five to seven active volcanic eruptions since 31 August. All around Indonesia.

What makes this particularly interesting is the timing. On 18 August, I highlighted an expected uptick in solar and geomagnetic activity during early September, including enhanced space-weather disturbances.

The simultaneous volcanic activity occurring now is not proof of a causal connection to space weather, but the temporal alignment is certainly worth monitoring as the current solar–geomagnetic active period develops. The coming seven days another geomagnetic peak is expected/estimated to materialize between 8-16 September.

🚨 🌐 From a climate perspective, increased volcanic activity across the Indonesian region is also worth monitoring for potential implications for tropical Indo-Pacific variability. Changes in volcanic aerosol loading and atmospheric circulation could potentially influence the Indian Ocean (#IOD) Dipole and #ENSO-related patterns, although any such relationship would need to be demonstrated from observations and physical mechanisms rather than assumed from timing alone. From a historical data related perspective, the volcanic forcing renders negative trend in IOD and inversely forces positive ElNino effects with a lag of 1-4 months.

Given the potential 4-week to 3-month lag window, the evolution of the Indian Ocean Dipole and El Niño RONI warming trend over the coming months will be particularly interesting to watch.
