@sporrtingnerd This is 1 thing i have been unable to answer. If deptts are so fkeen to have their own teams, why cant they simply finance a region?
There is a repeated argument of them giving jobs to players which makes no sense as they disown players in a minute when disbanding
@SeedaBalla93@Cric_Beyond_Ent He got too busy collecting prize purses outside Ministries & High court bars. Unnecessary photo ops w ministers. Also blame lies on Athletics federation for not still getting sponsors for proper foreign coaching setup

Brig Tariq TM Shaheed was one of the most decorated officers in the SSG and one of the most professional and respected officers in the Pak Army. A fearless veteran, he fought on multiple battlefields throughout his career. I'd like to recall some of the remarkable ops he led during the '65 and '71 wars.
Brig TM operated behind enemy lines in IOK during the '65 war and later served across Pak from Siachen to Balochistan in CI ops, Sindh in anti dacoit ops and East Pak during the '71 war. He also operated in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion, took part in 2 anti hijacking ops and trained the Sri Lankan SF, British SAS and US SF. He later became a close aide of Gen Zia and accompanied him to India during cricket diplomacy.
In Aug '65, Brig TM was part of Tariq Force tasked with striking Dras Cantt. Leading an SSG team, he infiltrated through 17000 to 18000 ft terrain, destroyed the target and earned his 1st Sitara e Jurat.
In '71, then Maj TM volunteered for East Pak. During the Bhairab Bazar Bridge op over the Meghna River, his team secured the bridge before it could be blown. TM personally killed the man trying to ignite the explosives. Around 200 rebels were killed, 4 captured and the bridge was secured for Pak forces.
From '73 to '79, TM commanded 3 Cdo Bn Powindahs in CI ops in Balochistan, leading from the front in tough conditions. In the '80s, he personally led 2 anti hijacking ops..
@faizanlakhani My humble suggestion as an avid runner for your safety. Plz try to run in a ground on some track. Better for knees and ankles. Roads/footpaths are dangerous. There are vehicles passing by & can cause some mishap.
