Attended the Majlis session of world leaders at @COP28_UAE where leaders questioned who would solve the climate crisis if not for them. The answer: young people like me.

It took all I had to not raise my hand and show the room we were there listening to them debate our future.

Islands are like the youngest sibling, always fighting to be heard, meanwhile the middle children, like UK, LMDCs, and US, that hide behind de oldest sibling, and the oldest siblings, like the Arab Group, take up space and air arguing when they know they’re wrong.
