@DragonCatalyst Nintendo isn't for everybody. Haven't had any interest in Zelda or Mario since SNES/N64 Era, only franchise I slightly care about is Pokemon and there is no reason to buy a Switch 2 for one game. Overall PC is just the better option for gamers like me.
@TrueGamer1111 Not true at all, you can build a better PC right now than the specs of the Next Gen Consoles, for just a little bit over the price. For better longevity and a better experience, plus the ability to do 100x more than you can on just a Console.
@The_CrapGamer There will be even less Console sales now at this price. The prices will likely drive people to just buy a PC for a similar price as it's a vastly better experience. These might genuinely be the LAST consoles these companies make.
@Dreamsinthenoct Blender and video/photo editing softwares are going to require a lot of RAM or VRAM which is kind of exploding in price due to AI. However the rest of the PC should be pretty standard to shop for.
@DufancysVentura PlayStation is going the same route. At this point the "Consoles are cheaper" argument is out the window. For these prices just get a PC.
@BringBackBanjoK Depends on the Gamer for Nintendo. I haven't been interested in Zelda and Mario since the SNES/N64 Era. Only franchise I do slightly care about is Pokemon, but that's not enough to buy a Switch 2. I think best option for majority of people will be moving to PC.
One of the biggest factors in the Console Wars between PC and Xbox/PS was that a PC was far too expensive. That is clearly no longer the case, when a decent PC will cost around the same or a little bit more than a new generation Console.
Xbox reportedly intends to release its next-generation console in 2028
Xbox reportedly projecting the console to cost $1,200 - $1,800, unless the company subsidizes some of the cost

@Levonaxper I'm not going to support Sony here, but this is happening because people found a way to Jailbreak on 14.10. This is a common tactic console developers have used to attempt to block the modding community from Jailbreaking/JTAGing/RGHing their console. Just find a way around 14.20
@TrolIvind Think it just depends on the gamer. I haven't been interested in things like Zelda and Mario since the SNES/N64 Era. A Switch 2 would do nothing for me, the exclusives are games I'm not interested in (Other than Pokemon).
