Note that the entire statue isn't superluminated and the projected image fades in the same area.

They appear, to me, to match with the shape of the superluminated figure if you overlap them.
Furthermore, they all look like they are looking down.

Only one implies Jesus's divinity.

To say Mary is not the Mother of God not only goes contrary to this but is a Nestorian claim.
The person Katja is quoting is making the Nestorian claim of rejecting Mary as Mother of God.

The claim separates Jesus's natures in the same way Nestorians do.

However, this is something I have seen before, primarily with interferometry since one of the methods uses the exact same phenomenon. It could happen to different cameras in similar ways.

Sorry, but I lean towards the skeptic side for this one. But we will see.

@VadeadIesum @AErebus4363 Another possibility is that the image got caught in the lense itself. Every time light goes through a medium change (air to glass or glass to air) light passes through and gets reflected. Almost all goes through.
Oversaturation would give an internal reflection a possibility.

@VadeadIesum @AErebus4363 A similar thing can happen with rear view mirror when you drive. There is a normal reflection and another, dimmer reflection offset from it.
My thinking is that because the statue oversaturated the camera, the image hits and reflects off the sensor and bounces back from the lense

@AErebus4363 @VadeadIesum I don't know. The projected image closely matches the statue and the main statue is super illuminated. It is likely a photographic artifact caused by a combination of the super lumination and the camera's lenses. Changing the angle of the camera could produce the changes we see.

We argued over religion. I properly answered his questions and when I gave the same questions back, he answered with insults.

@KatjaDox They always treat this as a gotcha, as if we would struggle over that question.

Jesus is the sole mediator to the Father and thus our sole path to salvation. Intercessors are not saviors. Worship is to God alone. Prayer is not worship but worship can be through prayer.
Etc, etc.

@ShamashAran @mitrajoy_ I went to a Catholic private middle school and it has a religion class. It taught more than Christianity. I don't remember much since it was a long time ago but I do remember learning about Buddhism and Hinduism.

I think a religious humanities class should be taught everywhere.
