@_Reading_Rocks_ We have a class read that we use for reading and writing in the next half term and we also have one for pleasure. The third is a selected book to support our C&E curriculum. The children gain so from the reading sessions 📖

True reading for pleasure comes from a deep connection between you, the book and your class. You can’t create a PowerPoint or format for that. It takes one magic ingredient. You. Reading. And bringing words alive like fireflies lighting up the classroom.

I have medium and long term plans. If I want to know what’s going on I’ll talk to the teacher and have a proper conversation about the work.
