The man also has a nice and affordable office chair brand. A man of the people.

In 1998, a woman stopped Shaquille O’Neal outside an arena and told him his sneakers cost too much for kids. He took $2,000 out of his pocket and handed it to her. She slapped it out of his hand. That same day he walked away from a $40 million deal and went off to make a $20 shoe.

He tells it himself in the video below.

He was leaving the building. She started on him before he reached the car.

“You’re charging these babies all this money for the shoes.”

He had about $2,000 on him. He pulled it out.

“Ma’am, I don’t make the prices. Here you go.”

She slapped the money out of his hand and kept going. Why wouldn’t you make a shoe that’s affordable.

On the table at that moment was a Reebok deal. Forty million over five years.

“I thought about it. I was like, you know what, she’s right.”

“So that day, cut ties with Reebok, starting my own brand.”

He did not negotiate a payout.

“I told them: keep the money. I don’t want to make it a fight. I’ll still wear the shoes during the season.”

Then he went to Walmart. The new shoes were priced at $29 and $19.

He also took Reebok’s designers with him.

“It’s not that kids don’t want to wear 20 dollar shoes. They don’t want to wear shoes that look like they cost 20.”

“I don’t care how much money I lose. Make these kids look good.”

He says the line has now sold more than 400 million pairs.

Twenty-three years after he walked out, the company he is part of bought Reebok.

He gave up $40 million rather than keep selling a shoe a mother could not afford.

Would you have taken the forty?

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@vzzeo That’s the kind of response that might make sense if we are talking a 5% increase, NOT 40%.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@darl5656 @Atlaswuzhere2 @esmanolovazquez @FemboysGang No, generations before him fought for that right. What did your son die for?

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@sphigel1 @InabonYnes @bsilone It has been 9 years since the roadster preorder.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@Darknesshas123 @McBigSlaw @mattparlmer @HelloThere65705 It’s enough to live, not very comfortably nor in a home.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@DadTheDude701 @PiratePatriot47 @zanehengsperger Yes you could, given 10 years of experience with the high school grad in question.

Red states have also told you to fuck off when you asked for their voter rolls.

[Stephen Miller @StephenM]

For two years the Trump Admin has sought federal voter rolls and welfare rolls from blue states to run against the federal non-citizen database—Democrat states refused and Democrat judges blocked DOJ/DHS. In every blue state you can vote or get welfare just by checking a box.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@WordFits @btrekman1 @StephenM Agree, what are all those red states that also said no afraid of???

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@msrobinLW @btrekman1 @StephenM Why are red states also refusing to hand them over then?

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@ethanagarwal Yes. He’s a net negative for this country so the less money and influence he has the better.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@InquisitiveCh @chickn___ “Every word in the sentence matters” and yet you continue to show you don’t have basic reading comprehension. It’s okay, you tried, failed, and like every loser before you, you blocked the first sign of pushback and hid lmao. Again, pathetic.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@InquisitiveCh @chickn___ “Nah I just don’t think” We can tell.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

They let her live and she just continues to cause annoyances and tries to get people killed. Absolutely zero stakes, show fell off.

So many people are going to get one-shotted by super persuasive super intelligences and I might be one of them

@New_Djhrr @financeguy725 Property taxes aren’t a sales tax, they’re a service fee.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@InquisitiveCh @chickn___ The stats provided are direct hits, no misses. Anything else I need to clarify for you? Also, why even use WASD when I can set my DPI to 20k and have it free flow?

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@InquisitiveCh @chickn___ You clearly didn’t expect any logical pushback, this is so pathetic… You are not built for this champ.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@InquisitiveCh @chickn___ Of course you don’t care, that tends to happen once you are proven wrong.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@thatjustindean Not when the generation before us fucked the economy and now aren’t paying income taxes despite requiring more than they paid in when they did.

[Haley S @HaleyS6789]

@InquisitiveCh @chickn___ Have looked, have played 325 hours of the game, and have read the damage and health stats. You’re just an angry Heli driver and lying, simple as that. Minimum time to kill havoc is 6 seconds and Lakota is 4 seconds. So average time to kill helis being 5-10 seconds is correct.
