@GeorgesStPierre If it wasnt earnt via pain, everyone would have it, and things that anyone can have are not respected and lose their value.
It is impossible for something to be good without the pain barrier to prevent the majority from acquiring.
Bingo.
The problem is that massive transfers from productive members of society via taxation enable the vast staff of elite universities to enjoy the benefits of capitalism while living under the illusion of communism.
Elon is building tunnels while literally burying ~99% of the cost that takes to build it
US Traditional subway tunnels cost ~$2.5 BILLION per mile
The moment Elon saw traditional tunnel costs, he said: "These are crazy numbers"
The @BoringCompany didn’t just lower costs, they built tunnels for ~$27M per mile that are more reliable, simpler, and built for the future.....
That's not 10% or 50% cheaper
That's ~99% cheaper!
Even adjusted for size, the efficiency gap is unexplainable
With new Prufrock, they're targeting for just $10M per mile
The gap is so massive, it changes everything:
> Cities can afford 10x more transit routes Point-to-point travel (no stops)
> Less time stuck in traffic
> Taxpayers stop paying inflated costs for outdated infrastructure
The media ignores this, but Elon is quietly rewriting the infrastructure of the future
Words are not violence. When you pretend that views that oppose your own are violence, you are justifying the use of actual violence towards the speaker.
Gender ideology’s reliance on tropes and slogans like ‘words are violence’, its constant rationalisation and justification of using force against opponents and its preference for enforcing compliance through fear rather than permitting debate, are straight out of fascism’s playbook.
‘The function of propaganda is . . . not to weigh and ponder the rights of different people, but exclusively to emphasize the one right which it has set out to argue for. Its task is not to make an objective study of the truth, in so far as it favors the enemy, and then set it before the masses with academic fairness; its task is to serve our own right, always and unflinchingly.’
The words are Hitler’s, but I must have seen trans activists say the same thing, barely rephrased, a thousand times. Your movement seeks to remove rights from others. It is anti-truth and critical thinking, pro-violence, pro-dehumanisation of those who disagree with you, and you are so lacking in self-awareness you cannot see that you are precisely what you pretend to hate.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
If anything happens to my brother I’m holding every MP who’s said his name including our prime minister @Keir_Starmer responsible for painting him as something he isn’t.
Their violent sensationalism and obsession with creating a boogeyman to scapegoat Britain’s problems onto puts him, my family and my kids at risk.
This isn’t a fucking game @UKLabour.
