@boomgaard_marco@EagleEyeExplore Excellent interview Marco! Couldn't agree more with your vision of bringing conservatives together across borders while respecting national sovereignty. This is exactly what we need. Keep up the great work my friend!
đšYesterday, MEPs hosted the launch of Forbidden Colours' highly inaccurate, discriminatory report, âThe Hate Reviewâ.
The report indiscriminately demonises hundreds of organisations - for holding mainstream views shared by tens of millions of European citizens.
To do this, they cite as "evidence" falsehoods spread by discredited organisations including:
âą @splcenter: Widely discredited by media, charity watchdogs and commentators as activist, partisan and unreliable. A former employee described the SPLC as a âhighly profitable scamâ. The SPLC has been sued multiple times for unjustly spreading false information about groups they disagree with, and was indicted on 11 counts in the USA earlier this year.
âą @globalextremism: Co-founded by a former employee of the SPLC who is currently under indictment by the FBI.
Forbidden Colours cites and imitates discredited organisations that spread falsehoods to disparage and silence their opponents. This is an affront to human rights, freedom and democracy.
âŒïžMonday at the European Parliament, EU-funded NGO Forbidden Colours will launch âThe Hate Reviewâ.
Weâve seen this insidious playbook before â push alarmist lies to silence & suppress our efforts to restore fundamental freedoms across the EU. This is Censorship 101.
Letâs take a closer look at some of the people involved:
âą MariĂĄn SekerĂĄk (peer reviewer): believes concerns about gender ideology are the âcontemporary right-wing ultraconservativeâ equivalent of Nazi scapegoating.
âą Heidi Beirich (co-founder of The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism, a partner of FC): a former employee of the widely-discredited SPLC, who is now under indictment by the FBI.
âą Florin Buhuceanu (peer reviewer): describes the Romanian Orthodox Church as engaging in âactive relays of hateâ and using âstrident, immoral and hypocritical discourse⊠to redefine the family in a restrictive key.â
